What Are We?

Lok Me Ram Shodh Sansthan is a multidisciplinary cultural and research initiative devoted to the study and celebration of Lok Mein Ram — the living presence of Lord Ram in the consciousness of Bharat.

Our work begins with a simple yet profound observation:

Ram is not confined to the pages of scripture or the walls of temples —
He breathes through the rhythm of our villages, the devotion in our songs, the ethics of our homes, and the courage of our people.

Across India, countless communities keep alive the idea of Ram in their folk narratives, festivals, performing arts, proverbs, and customs.
From the songs sung by tribal women in Chhattisgarh, to the shadow puppetry of Andhra, from the Ramnagar Ramlila to the devotional lores of Mithila — every region carries a unique expression of Maryada Purushottam Ram.

Lok Me Ram Shodh Sansthan seeks to study, document, and preserve these expressions — not as relics of the past, but as living philosophies shaping human character and collective consciousness even today.

Our Mission

To bridge the sacred and the social — the Ram of scriptures with the Ram of the people.
Through research, field documentation, creative interpretation, and youth participation, we strive to build a comprehensive understanding of how the ideals of Ram Rajya continue to inspire justice, compassion, and moral integrity in everyday life.

We see our role as both a shodh sansthan (research body) and a movement of rediscovery — uniting scholars, students, and citizens in the study of dharma as lived practice.
